We've created this forum so that people who are interested in the Community ARK Project can come here and ask specific questions as anonymous unregistered guest (simply post a quick reply below and ask your specific questions, you do not need membership to post). We understand that we live in an age where people are weary of disclosing their personal contact information; like email, phone number etc... This forum serves as a neutral ground (equivalent to having a meeting in a public place) where all parties feel safe to be themselves, and can ask their specific questions without inhibition and without worries of being judge. We modeled this after our past University experiences. Often the professor would assign a project and make up teams composed of students who don't know each others. Their first collaborative meeting to work on their project would most often be held at a neutral public space. Trust is naturally establish when people work together to achieve a common goal and vision; because as people work together, they will come to know, value and respect each others for their contributions toward the common interest. "It is better to have one person working with you than three people working for you." -- Dwight D. Eisenhower Guideline for posting on this forum: 1) Please be sure to read the blogs posted so far (numbered 1 through 7) before you post your specific questions. In the interest of efficiency and urgency, we do not answer redundant questions that have been answered by the posted blogs. (In case people have lost our gathering advert, here is the link to those blogs: plus.google.com/102375891160584130482?hl=en ) There are other information on the site; but for some reason, they can only be seen by those who are logged into their Google Plus account even though we have shared them as public.

Reply msg for Robin Antoni. Regarding your comment " how do we get started the sooner the better". We request that everyone who are interested in joining our project help us with spreading our gathering advertisements in different cities, in order to reach as many people as possible. The task is very simple. Each person pick a few cities that they will be responsible for posting our Craigslist gathering advertisement. Their task is to keep renewing any of their posting whenever it expire. To aide in this advert endeavor, we have created a Trello online managing account to help keep track and coordinate the advertisement task; to prevent different people overlapping and posting in the same city. Please click on the link below to create your own account. Then email us via the Youtube mail system the name you have chosen to be seen online. We will search for that name on Trello and add that name to our advertisement access level, which will then allow you to see our list of city advert. We will explain in further detail once you've create an account and notified us. This is a simple task to evaluate if a person is serious or not. If a person isn't willing to do this very simple task, how can we rely on them to do more responsible task like pitching in to build or maintain the community infrastructures. trello.com/communityarkproject/recommendIf you've read our blog titled "Generalized plan of actions", you will understand why pitching in to help with gathering advertisement is important. The more people we reach, the sooner we can gather the required number of people to begin Phase Two. The sooner we reach Phase Two, the sooner we can go on site and begin building; thus the sooner we are able to evacuate people out of harm's way as the environment collapses. =========On a side note ======== Thank you Robin for expressing interest in our project. If you haven't yet, please read through the blogs we posted so far on our Google Plus site (numbered 1-7). Though they are not comprehensive, they should answer many of the questions you might have (there are still much more info to be release in the future. The rate of release is constraint by time availability to produce and publish them). If you still have specific questions after reading, then please feel free to ask. We encourage specific questions, it will help us to develop our comprehensive FAQ (frequently ask questions) page. Our organization promotes a round table environment instead of the failing traditional hierarchical social structure to ensure maximal survival chances. And in order to accomplish this, we strive to cultivate every members of our organization into leaders. It is a round table of people who are both leaders and followers. For example, if there was a medical emergency, then those in the community with medical knowledge naturally assume leadership role to direct everyone else as to what to do. If we were building a sewage system, then those with engineering knowledge naturally assume leadership role to direct everyone else. Since we are committed to creating a peaceful community, it is important for us to break free of a hierarchical social structure. All hierarchical social structure create a pecking order, where those at the top get better access to resources and better quality of life than those at the bottom. Which result in strife and conflict as those at the bottom are constantly trying to undermine those at the top to take their place. While those at the top constantly try to suppress those at the bottom to keep their position. This conflict naturally divides a community and cause it to collapse. No divided community will be able to survive the coming environmental collapse. Please let us know once you have read all the numbered blogs (1-7). We can then move onto the next stage, which is teaching you leadership skills and preparing you to function as part of our organization. ( We recognized that since many people come from a hierarchical social structure where they have been conditioned to follow, it can be overwhelming to start thinking about taking position of leadership. We will not ask those who are not ready to step up to be in position of leadership if they are not comfortable yet. However, we do request that everyone still make the effort to learn about leadership. There's a saying: before one can lead, one must first learn to follow. The opposite is also true. Before one can follow, one must first learn to lead; so they can come to understand: a) how the leaders should behave and function; and b) the manner in which leaders can effectively lead and communicate their directions clearly to their fellow community members.) Many hierarchical organizations say whatever people want to hear so they can gain the support of as many people as possible, but in reality does not care for their supporters' interest nor do they care about their needs. We on the other hand, being a round table organization care for our supporters. We want to see that the time and energy put forth by our supporters bare fruits that will help them and their family. We do not wish to see someone miss understand our vision, invest their time and energy, only to realize later on that it is not what they had in mind. This is one of the reasons why we request that people spend the time to read the information in the blogs we release so far, and ask specific questions; so that they are clear and are on the same page as we are regarding our common vision and goals. That way, when the common vision and goals are achieve, everyone visions & goals will be met; and everyone will benefit and will be satisfied from the achievement of those common visions & goals.
